A resident of Hanover, New Hampshire, Nathan Kim is attending Dartmouth College, where he is working toward a computer science degree. Nathan Kim has completed classes in calculus, economics, sociology, linguistics, and Asian culture.
He also plays with the Dartmouth College Wind Ensemble. He has traveled with the group to Mexico to play at a week-long recital with students at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. An accomplished musician, he plays multiple instruments and is a classical state-awarded pianist. He has achieved the highest level of musical certification from the Music Teachers Association of California.
Additionally, he creates digital content for a YouTube channel with over 20,000 subscribers. He has served with Los Angeles Election Workers to improve the 2020 voting experience for the public. In 2017 through 2021, he served as a volunteer and director of a Math Olympiad in which he coached students and oversaw a virtual education program.
